FocalAPI's fixed product focus and documentation boundary
FocalAPI is a model gateway for creative workflows. Its primary surface is image, video, audio, 3D, and other visual-creation models; model selection, API guidance, and billing are organized around creative work.
Primary capabilities
- Image generation, editing, and reference-image workflows
- Video generation, task polling, and asset download
- Audio transcription and speech synthesis
- 3D and other visual-creation models when enabled in the live model catalog
- Native request semantics and response formats for each creative model
Text capability boundary
DeepSeek is the only general-purpose text fallback exposed to users. It can help with prompts, outlines, and lightweight text tasks, but it is not the product's primary direction.
OpenAI, Claude, Claude Code, general coding models, and other text-model surfaces are not documented as primary features, navigation entries, or homepage examples. A non-creative endpoint in the upstream specification is not automatically published here.
Use the live model catalog in the console and GET /v1/models as the source of truth for availability, parameters, and pricing.
